Rental Terms and Conditions
1. Rental Period:
The rental period begins on the agreed-upon delivery date and ends on the scheduled pickup date. The default rental period is 7 days. Any additional days will incur an additional fee of $25 per day.
2. Payment:
Rental fees are payable in advance and include the agreed rental period, delivery, pickup, and disposal costs. Additional charges may apply for exceeding the weight limit, extra days, or prohibited items.
Payments are typically made via credit card, cash, or other agreed-upon methods. A security deposit might be required.
3. Delivery and Pickup:
The customer must provide a suitable location for dumpster placement and ensure accessibility for delivery and pickup without obstruction.
Any damage caused during delivery or pickup due to site conditions provided by the customer may result in additional charges.
4. Prohibited Items:
Hazardous waste, chemicals, tires, batteries, electronics, flammable materials, and other prohibited items are not allowed in the dumpster. Violation of this condition may result in penalties or additional fees. Please see the website for more information.
Overloading and Weight Limits:
The customer must not exceed the maximum weight limit specified for the dumpster. Additional charges apply for exceeding weight limits.
*Load Limits:
- 10 yard 1 ton
- 20 yard 3 tons
- 30 yard 4 tons
*Weight overage: $135 per ton
6. Liability:
The customer assumes responsibility for the dumpster once it’s delivered and until it’s picked up.
Any damage or loss caused by misuse or negligence will be the customer’s responsibility.
7. Safety and Usage:
Dumpsters should not be moved or relocated by the customer. They should also not be overloaded above the designated fill line.
Customers must follow all safety guidelines and local regulations while using the dumpster.
8. Cancellation and Refunds:
Cancellation policies and refunds vary. Generally, cancellations made within a certain period may incur fees, while cancellations with sufficient notice may allow for a refund or rescheduling.
9. Insurance:
The customer may be required to provide evidence of insurance coverage or accept liability for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during the rental period.
10. Governing Law:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New York, and any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
11. Modifications:
The rental terms and conditions may be subject to change by the rental company without prior notice. Any modifications will be effective upon posting on the company’s website or other official
communication channels.
12. Agreement Acceptance:
By accepting the delivery of the dumpster or entering into an agreement, the customer acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
